Being a student at Stephenson College is not just about gaining a qualification, it is also about getting involved.
There are a number of College groups on which student representation is required. These include Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, Higher Education Board of Study etc.
The College has an active Student Council made up of Course Representatives and Student Governors. Course Representatives are elected by students on each course at the starts of the year. If you want to represent the views of your fellow students at the Student Council Meetings, to hear what changes the College has made as a result of their feedback, this is a great opportunity. Talk to your Course Tutor at the start of the year.
The College has two Student Governors who represent student views on the College Board of Governors (Corporation).
