Student Services are a team of specialist advisors who can offer information, advice, support and guidance on a wide range of matters.
Student Services promote the voice of the student and supports the engagement of students in all aspects of college life, including personal, financial, work experience and careers, to help students complete their learning programme successfully and progress.
Students with learning difficulties and disabilities are provided with practical help and close contact is maintained with both the family and relevant support agencies. All areas of the College offer good access to people with physical disabilities.
The College has an experienced an approachable student counsellor who is able to talk over any concerns you may have in total confidence, whether they are course-related or personal.
Careers Education, Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) is provided to potential and existing students, reflecting diversity of students’ needs, in a supportive environment free from discrimination. Students’ needs are identified and addressed; where appropriate they will be signposted or referred to an external agency.
Student Services also operates reception at both the Coalville and Nottingham sites to deal with general enquiries, reporting sickness/absence, lost property, first aid etc.
