Level 3
There are no formal entry requirements for this award, although candidates will undertake initial assessment of their skills in English, Mathematics and ICT and would be expected to display level 2 skills. It is a requirement that learning support practitioners should gain a qualification which focuses specifically on the support role and this award is aimed at any candidate who needs an initial award for their role as a generalist learning support practitioner within the Lifelong Learning Sector.

A combination of classroom delivery and self-study
Through a combination of written assessment tasks and one observed support session of at least 15 minutes
