If the duration of your course is more than 1 year, further tuition/material fees will be expected 12 months after starting your course unless you are exempt from payment.

No Qualifications are required. Acceptance is by individual interview and assessment.

What will I study

Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening Skills.

How will I learn?

By small groups and workshops.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is by continual review of student work. When ready the students will complete an online or paper-based national test.

Where could it lead?

Progression could be onto a range of other courses having refined your literacy skills, eg, Key Skills Level 2, GCSE's. It is also possible to move straight on to your preferred vocational course where literacy level 1 is required.
