NVQ Level II Plumbing C+G or BPEC Water regulations A basic understanding of domestic hot and cold water systems is required.

What will I study

This course is designed to assist candidates in preparing for the BPEC Disinfection of Stored Water & Legionella assessment. It covers: Legislation, properties of water, legionella, systems design, disinfection of cold water, and reporting.

How will I learn?

As part of the training program, you will carry out mostly classroom based, but some workshop based activities.

How will I be assessed?

A short paper based assessment, with exercises throughout the course.

Where could it lead?

The course is designed to cover disinfection of water systems to meet the requirements of the ACOP approved code of practice and HSE document L8. This is an essential course for plumbers wishing to maintain domestic hot & cold water services and comply with government legislation.
