The BTEC National Diploma is a top quality course, which adequately prepares the student to enter a career in Motor Vehicle Industry. The course involves attending College three days a week for two years and one week work experience each year.
Level 3
The normal entry requirements for the National Diploma are: Four GCSEs at grade C or above in English and Maths. An achievement in a level two qualification eg. BTEC First Diploma Level one- Level three in literacy and numeracy (Assessment taken at interview)

You will have access to state of the art workshops and resources backed up with a well-equipped learning zone. Learning sessions will include workshop, lectures, discussions, directed study, group work and simulations. You will also develop the skills of working using your own imitative and working as part of a team.
Your knowledge is assessed by practical assessments in a motor vehicle workshop environment, and by assessment scripts set by the College. Key Skills will be assessed by the building of a portfolio and an on-line external test.
Progression can be made onto the BTEC Higher National Certificate/Diploma (HNC/D) qualification (Level 4). The course will also help you to progress to employment or other work-based training in the motor vehicle industry, or possibly into higher education.
