Course Description

The PEO L2 forms part of the current engineering apprenticeship. It consists of three mandatory units and three other units such as:

> hand fitting

> machining

> welding

> electrical

> Hydraulics/Pneumatics


The PEO is completed in College

Entry Requirements

You have to be 16 to 19 years old and employed as an apprentise

Forty four weeks

What will I study

Their are three mandatery units, plus three other unit to make six unit for the L2 qualification

How will I learn?

Most of the work is practical based, so primarily in the workshop but has a small classroom element

How will I be assessed?

Each non-mandatory unit consists of three assessments

Where could it lead?

The PEO leads in to the Advanced apprentice scheme
