The emphasis of the course is of practical hands-on experience. Students with help and guidance from your tutor, will learn level 2 software skills and work through practice assignments.
Assessment is continual throughout the course. Work is marked week by week and regular feedback given. There will be a final assessment for each unit that the learner has to achieve before moving onto the next unit. A learner can use his/her own notes as well as handbooks during these assessments.
After successful completion of the certificate a student may progress onto level 3 following agreement with the course tutor. Alternatively some students go onto studying computerised accounts using Sage software.
You will need a USB memory stick, a folder and a pen. The college provides handouts, practice tasks, mocks, live assessments and files. Also manuals/library book for each unit.
