The Complementary Therapies industry is a developing and growing market. With a qualification in indian head massage you can find yourself in a salon, a health farm or even as a self employed therapist visiting clients at home or at work. This qualification will provide you with the skills you need.

Entry Requirements

You will need to attend a college advice session before enrolment onto this course. A recognised qualification in health and safety is essential. This can be taken alongside the indian head massage award.

How will I learn?

You will learn in a modern, well equipped environment; state-of-the-art treatment rooms, using industry standard equipment and high quality products. Access to the latest online learning materials will be available, delivered using Smartboards and Plasma screen TVs. The course will be taught using a variety of approaches these include; practical work, directed learning on computers, independent study and tutorials.

How will I be assessed?

You will complete practical assessments and written tests.

Where could it lead?

Further complementary therapy courses such as aromatherapy, reflexology, body massage or a full qualification in complementary therapies.

Materials/Equipment Required

You will need to purchase a kit and uniform from a college recommended supplier. Order forms are available from college.
