A refresher course covering all of the fundamentals of testing and purging of moderately sized commercial gas systems. If your work is restricted to natural gas only, pipe of maximum 150mm. diameter, operating pressures not greater than 40mbar, and installation volume not exceeding 1 cubic metre, then this qualification is appropriate. If your work is on fuel gases other than natural gas, or systems of greater size or operating pressure than this, please see TPCP1 on the list.

1 day, plus 1 day separate assessment, 2 days in all.
This course covers current practices in the areas of:
> Pneumatic testing
> Direct Purging
The course is for experienced people, and the subjects are wide ranging, so are mainly covered in the classroom. This is by lecturer input, written exercises, and research. There are practical tasks also, in certain areas of work.
The assessment takes 1 day in addition to the training period, and is undertaken separately.
After your successful assessment, you will receive your certificate by mail and you can then work unsupervised during testing and purging operations on systems covered.
Please dress for light practical work and bring a black pen and a calculator. All other equipment will be provided.
