Ideally you will have 4-5 GCSEs grades D-G, or an Introductory Diploma at a Merit level or above.

Course Length

The course is 1 year long. You will attend college for approximately 14 hours per week over 3 days.

All units are assessed through projects or coursework which includes developing posters, leaflets and written work. There are no exams.

Where could it lead?

Following this course you could progress to the Health and Social Care Level 3 Diploma, an apprenticeship, or employment in the Health and Social Care sector.

Materials/Equipment Required

You will need normal stationery for taking notes and producing coursework such as pens and paper.
