
This course is designed for health practitioners working in settings that provide dementia care. The course will enhance your professional practice so raising the care standards for dementia services.
Level 4
Applicants should have studied to a level 3 standard. All applicants will be interviewed. If you are a mature learner we are happy to discuss entry requirements on an individual basis taking into account prior learning and experience.
The foundation degree will require 3 years of part time study.

Learning is facilitated through college attendance on taught sessions, tutorials, self directed private study and reflective accounts.
Assessment is a contiuous process throughout the programme. Each module will require completed work in a variety of forms; essay writing, case studies, presentations, group debate and writing based on reflection of your professional practice.
The foundation degree will be awarded through the University of Bradford who have established Bachelor and Masters programmes in Dementia Studies as a progression opportunity.
