Course Description

On this qualification you will learn about aspects of the prevention and control of infection that you could apply to a variety of settings. The types of infections that impact on individuals or groups and the working practice that impact on the reduction of infections.
Effective hand washing is one of the most importance contributions to reducing the spread of infection and you will demonstrate this good practice as part of this qualification.
