Designed to provide a general business qualification encompassing skills and knowledge required in an increasingly changing environment, and to enhance professional practice to improve employment prospects and raise standards within the business sector.

Applicants should have studied to a level 3 standard. All applicants will be interviewed. If you are a mature learner we are happy to discuss entry requirements on an individual basis taking into account prior learning and experience.
The degree is offered as full time for 2 years (64 weeks), or part time for 3 years (96 weeks)

College attendance with sessions divided between lectures, seminars and work shops. Home study will also be required for all modules.
Assessment is a continuous process throughout the programme, requiring completed work as assignments, reports, case studies, exams, on-line tests, role play and practical simulations. All will be based on real life working environments and simulations.
The foundation degree is awarded through Nottingham Trent University who have established Bachelor programmes as profgression opportunities in business. Career opportunties and progression include middle management and management training programmes within leading companies.
Although the college endeavours to keep an up to date well stocked library students may need to purchase specialised text books. All will be given access to Nottingham Trent University library and electronic resources as well as Stephenson College's
