Beauty therapy is an extremely exciting business and there are many different opportunities. Most progressive salons will expect their staff to attain a level 3 qualification. This course is designed to build on your passion for the beauty therapy industry and is aimed at committed therapists who are interested in developing their skills.
Level 3
You should have obtained NVQ Level 2 in beauty therapy. Selection will be made on the basis of an interview and initial assessment. Personal qualities such as self-motivation, a genuine interest and commitment to study are essential.
You will need to attend a college advice session before enrolment onto this course.

You will learn in a modern, well equipped environment; state-of-the-art beauty treatment rooms, using industry standard equipment and high quality products. Access to the latest online learning materials will be available, delivered using Smartboards and Plasma screen TVs. The course will be taught using a variety of approaches these include; practical work, directed learning on computers, independent study and tutorials.
You will complete practical assessments, assignments and online tests.
Following completion of this course you can progress onto a level 3 VRQ in Complementary Therapies, Level 4 qualifications in Beauty/Spa.
