Entry Requirements

A basic level of English is required ( C/D GCSE). A keen interest in animation, multimedia and drawing. You will also attend an interview and present examples of your work.

1 year full time

What will I study

A variety of topics will be covered to develop your creativity and craft skills; these include drawing, 3D modelling, interactive media, audio and video production, advertising, and animation techniques. You will also learn functional skills which are English, Maths and ICT as required.

How will I learn?

In state-of-the-art facilities using traditional and digital media with up to date graphics, video and animation software on industry standard Apple Mac and PC hardware . You will visit galleries, museums and learn through practical work and demonstrations. You will work both individually and as part of a group.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed entirey through course work.
There are no exams.

Materials/Equipment Required

Essential hardware is available for use at the college. Students are required to supply their own basic materials including sketchbooks, spray mount, and other consumables. Full details are provided on induction.
