Shampoo and condition hair and scalp
Style, dress and finish hair using basic techniques
Change hair colour using basic techniques
Optional (1 unit must be completed)
Fulfil salon reception duties
Promote additional products or services to clients
Develop and maintain your effectiveness at work
Provide scalp massage services
Perm and neutralise hair using basic techniques
Promotional activities
Effective development at work
Enhancements are additional units which may be taken (on agreement with your trainer) to enhance your skills and develop your hairdressing abilities in hairdressing.
Functional Skills
Level 1 Maths, Level 1 English and personal learning and thinking skills must be undertaken as part of the Apprenticeship, although some candidates may be exempt dependent on prior attainment.
