This Level 4 Certificate is designed to reflect the work of administration staff across a wide range of industries and types of organisations and is for those
who are working with autonomy and personal
responsibility. It is aimed at candidates who are developing, implementing and monitoring administrative
services within their organisation.

What will I study

To achieve a Level 4 Certificate in Business and Administration, you must complete a total of 30 credits from 6 mandatory units and 44 optional units. 20 credits must come from the mandatory units and a minimum of 10 credits from optional group B. 20 credits must be achieved at level 4.

How will I learn?

Your assessor/trainer will visit you in the workplace to:

• review and monitor your progress

• give you the necessary guidance and support

• give you feedback on the work you have carried out

During these assessment visits, the assessor/trainer will help you identify suitable work evidence to collect, observe your performance and give you feedback on how you have met the Learning Outcomes, Evidence Requirements.

At each visit, the assessor/trainer will agree and record an action plan with you and provide you with written feedback.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will take place when your assessor/trainer visits your workplace. They will help you identify suitable work evidence to collect, observe your performance, give guidance when writing Personal Statements, carryout Professional Discussions and give you feedback on how you have met the Learning Outcomes and Evidence Requirements.

During each visit, the assessor/trainer will agree and record an action plan with you and provide you with written feedback.
