What will I study

This course will develop the skills necessary for a 'finance team leader' role: complex management accounting tasks; general management skills; drafting financial statements; specialisation in specific subject areas.

How will I learn?

A Variety of teaching methods are used, including formal teaching, guided/individual work and workshops.

How will I be assessed?

All assessments for the revised qualification will be Computer Based Assessments (CBAs). CBAs directly reflect the practical workplace tasks that you currently perform, or will perform in your career.

How Where could it lead?

Once you’ve completed your studies and you become a full member, you are entitled to use the letters MAAT after your name. You can also register to work for yourself - the AAT has 1,600 members in practice offering accounting and taxation services to small businesses and the public.Once you’ve achieved the AAT Accounting Qualification, you may be eligible for exemptions from the foundation stage exams of all the UK charted accountancy bodies. Materials/Equipment Required
